PLATE CUTTING

All Metal Services are equiped to provide the Aerospace and Defence Industries with the latest technology in plate sawing and can offer:

• Cut to size blanks with a tolerance of +/- 0.2mm
• 6 metre maximum length
• Cutting of up to 300 mm thick plate
• Profiled shapes as well as standard rectangles
• All plate hard stamped with identification references
• Bespoke packaging requirements accommodated

 

CUT TO SIZE SHEET 

We are able to offer cut to size aluminium, steel and titanium sheet up to 6mm thick.

• Cut to size tolerance of +/- 0.1mm
• 5 metre maximum length
• Nesting facility to maximise utilisation
• Profiled and finished part size
• Indentification to match customer requirements

 

PLASTIC COATING

We can offer plastic coating for prime or cut to size sheet.

• 2 metre maximum width
• Coating on one or both sides 
• A variety of different grades of coating (e.g Nitto)

 

CNC MACHINING

We are equipped with CNC machining facilities and can offer the following.

• Surface machining up to 3 mtr x 2 mtr
• Full billet preparation 
• Nesting facilities to reduce lead times

 

BAR CUTTING

We operate automatic band saws enabling the supply of the following.

• Cut to size billets
• Tolerance of +/- 0.1mm
• All billets hard stamped
• Deburring facilities
• Chamfering of bar ends
